IWEA was formed in May 2022 and is registered with the Companies Registration Office.  The Board of the Association is made up of a representative from each of the 12 member entities – 3 Community National Schools, 6 independent schools, 2 training organisations, and Lifeways Ireland, the body responsible for safeguarding the Waldorf ethos in state recognised schools.
